There are a few things that I like to regularly keep around the apartment to make it feel less like an apartment and more like a home.
+ Few things smell better than
this candle from Anthropologie. I have at least two in my home at all times (
one for the bedroom and one for the living room) and it just makes everything smell clean without being too girly. Important when you live with a man.
+ A
girly apron makes me feel more put-together when I'm putzing around the kitchen, plus it keeps my clothes clean. Because there's a 100 percent chance I'll end up covered in flour.
+ Finally, for some reason, coffee table books jut make me feel like an adult. Don't ask me why. It's a weird thing. But this
Domino book is next on my list.

we don't need to talk about that candle because we already have. but i freaking LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteMy go-tos are candles (with pretty holders), new coasters, fresh flowers, a new throw pillow in a bright hue and I change the colors of the shower curtain, rug and towels on display in my bathroom :)

DeleteI love having a few (not a ton! I'm not the crazy lady living in a jungle!) potted plants in cute pots because they are pretty. 100% chance of me killing them within a week, but they're simple enough to replace from time to time.
